Floating Rock
I tried to capture a sense of weightlessness with this sculpture. The paradox of tying down a rock so it won't float away, makes the image stronger. The rock also seems to be curious, looking around it's environment.

The base is granite with a steel chain. The assembly is 14" high, 26" wide, and 17" deep.
