This lamp is one of my few wall mounted lamps, and I really like it. People have asked me, if there's not a way to hide the cord, but it is my intention to show it. The natural opening in the steel, is too nice not to use. In fact I might make it even more obvious by installing a spiral cord or some flexible metal conduit.

The picture below shows how the appearance of the light changes, with changing light conditions in the room.

The lamp is 26" high by 13" wide. It is made of scrap steel and aluminum, and uses a 15W fluorescent light.
