Mr. Cobrahead
This is a 7 foot tall reading light, made from a fallen street light. I've rewired it to accept a incandescent bulb. With the dimmer, mounted on top of the "head", it gives a very mellow, soft light, but can also be very bright.
This was the hit of the Art-O-Matic show, and it was snatched up pretty quickly. I have recently found some more streetlights, so more examples are on the way.
The lamp is 7' high and 12" in diameter at the base. It is made of scrap steel and aluminum and uses a 300W incandescent bulb.
