Dewcicles
These sconces are made from recycled glass. The glass is fired at higher than normal fusing temperatures, to make it opaque and give the milky sheen. It gives the glass a jade-like quality. This process is called devitrification. I spend a lot of time at the studio avoiding it, but here I've made it work to my advantage.
The light is 16" high, 12" wide, and 6" deep. Photo by Greg Staley.
