This is the second car I found about through a charity auction, except the process was a bit more convoluted this time. I had to go through various title changes and pay more money to get it. I was able to track down the former owner, and he was quite helpful. He had been the second owner, which makes me the third, even though the title changed hands a few times in between. he had bought the car in the early eighties with only 15K miles on it, and only used as weekend driver himself. The design of the car is beautiful, very well propartioned. It shares the front bodywork with Beta Coupe, but the rear is a swooping hatch instead of the stubby trunk.

These are the pictures of the car when I first got it. It was in decent shape, with limited rust, shiny paint on the sides of the car, but the top and hood were very faded. The interior was gorgeous, with beautiful leather seats.

By chance I found these Fondmetal wheels, and they look the part on the Lancia. I just need to lower the car a bit. Next project is getting rid of the huge US spec bumpers...
